Design modelling

Design modelling is primarily about the aesthetics of a design. The design features often become more tangible when they are presented on haptic models. They are not intended as functional models, but to demonstrate visual and tactile features such as overall proportions, surface structure and colouring.

Prototyping

The aim here is to create physical prototypes of a product quickly and efficiently. This can include the use of 3D printing to create prototypes that can be quickly tested and refined so that everyone involved in the development process can iterate and improve in a short space of time.
