clear, friendly, fast

In the fast-moving world of science, increasing efficiency and reliability is essential. The Microlab PuriFY offers a compact, stand-alone solution for nucleic acid purification in NGS library preparation and PCR workflows. Designed for academic and R&D facilities in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries, it streamlines labor-intensive purification steps, saves valuable time and minimizes human error.

This allows the scientists to concentrate on their actual research. Behind the sleek design of Microlab PuriFY is a patented magnetic bead handling technology that ensures precise DNA purification combined with the reliability of automation.

Only one edge

The Hamilton PuriFY is characterized by a very simple, timeless design. However, its reduced form surprises with a single continuous edge (interrupted only by the bottom drawer handle) that runs along the entire appliance.

At eye level

A display that is used standing up places special demands on height and angle. Even if it is not at eye level, it should be easy for everyone to see and operate.

Daily use

The interaction between the position of the display and the operability of the drawers is also an important point in the daily use of our device at the workplace.

Mock-ups in the design sprint

In order to be able to quickly draw conclusions about ergonomics, quickly built mock-ups have always been essential in design development. A few years ago, this approach gave rise to what is known as “design thinking”.

UI/UX

The user guidance of the user interface is essential for the user experience. We also designed the user interface and user experience, resulting in a laboratory device from a single source: simple, pleasant to use and a formal link between human and technical.
