As we always put people at the centre of everything we do, usability is particularly important to us. The challenge with Kuka was that the user could “press the right buttons” without seeing anything. The controls therefore had to be arranged in a way that was both logical and tactile. Of course, the device is not operated in the dark, so the controls have also been prioritised using colour coding.
